This was a very simple plug and play app. I connected the transmitter to my receiver's subwoofer and connected the signal receiver to the back of the subwoofer. I've seen reviews complaining about the subwoofer hum. I upgraded my RCA cables and there was still some hum. I moved the transmitter a little further away from the home theater receiver and the buzzing went away and hasn't happened since. All it does is plug our home theater receiver into an outlet controlled by a light switch. It's only when the lights are turned off to turn off the system that the subwoofer makes a thud. Nothing terrible and not strong enough to damage the subwoofer. Otherwise, I haven't had any issues with signal loss or noticeable audio lag from the subwoofer. However, one thing should be noted. This does not work with all Klipsch subwoofers. Make sure your subwoofer has the correct connector on the back. We have 3 Klipsch subwoofers and the only one that has the correct connection is the one I bought specifically for this wireless connection (the subwoofer still needs to be plugged into an outlet). Overall I am very very happy with it.
