I installed them under my bathroom vanity as a night light. Installation was very easy after making sure you bought the right length. Other reviewers point out that they cannot be cut. I first tried using a setting that turns on during the day or night because it can get dark in my bathroom. With this setting it ran for 1 to 2 weeks before needing to be recharged. I set it to 15 seconds for periods of moderate bathroom use. After charging the battery I set it to only turn on at night and now I have about 4 weeks between charges. The light dims when the battery runs out, so you'll know when to recharge. I can charge it once a month, just wish there was room for a larger battery or rechargeable AA batteries. Otherwise it's great for what it is, meaning you don't need to plug in power or cables (which is pretty handy).
