A good cheap antenna was used indoors and it did the job.

I made it. Good price. Deducted 1 star because one of the pre-installed rods is bent. This is the ASIN Revain part number for this review, B089G4WRC4. I use it INDOOR, put it in the window and lean it against the inner windowsill. Now I receive many more channels. I used one of the LTE filters, ASIN # B07Y26F22P, and a new 12ft RG6 coaxial cable from this new antenna, ASIN # B06XNK2XZW with my setup. I had a rabbit with no reinforcements. The ear antenna sits on top of my TV. I'm in a town about 20 miles from some train stations, further from others. Here there are mainly brick houses, not many aluminum walls, no more than two levels. About 10 years ago I last used my old bunny ear antenna which until recently only gave me ONE channel. a small number of channels. Now I could only get 1 channel!?!?. Same rabbit ear antenna, same TV, same space for everything. Read about antennas and see that 4G can cause interference. With this new antenna and no LTE filter, I immediately saw more channels than with my old rabbit ears. I didn't lose any channels by adding the LTE filter, I still saw additional ones. This setup worked exactly as I hoped, no fuss, no roof antenna (yet), easy to deal with at the moment (indoors) and a good low price. Cons: One of the pre-installed bars was bent, looks about 10 degrees. On the bar itself there is a notch where the bend begins. I didn't try to straighten it for fear of breaking it. It's not about transportation, the outer shipping carton is intact, the antenna carton is sealed, not crushed. . The antenna was packaged by the manufacturer as is with a bent shaft. Durability? I'm not sure if this antenna will withstand the scorching ultraviolet sun and freezing winter. The lower half of the antenna is made of black plastic. Holders for longer bars that you collect. This is the same plastic, if damaged the bars can fall out. Pros: Works even indoors. Less $$ than many antennas. A wider bottom half needs to be built, the longer rods need to be inserted into their black plastic holders, and this bottom half needs to be attached to the top half of the antenna where the rods are already inserted. No tools but your hands. required to complete antenna assembly. But inserting the bars into their black plastic holders can be difficult for some elderly people. The dimensions given also appear to be accurate by eye only and not measurements.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Low maintainability
