worked fine until he died less than two weeks later

I thought this would be a great lamp - not the best in the range that serious aquarists are looking for but definitely better than the basic LED lamps found in large pet shops and suited my needs. Setup was fairly easy and the operation and functionality was satisfactory. Complaints: The cables from the lamp and controller, which all plug into the hub, aren't very long. So the mounting options are limited and you will probably have to decide where to mount what. The weather effects were disappointing. In weather mode, these are mostly night colors with a slight flickering of white LEDs. Seems pointless. But it's normal; The normal light cycle is most important, so I just disabled the weather effect. Red and green LEDs do not have the same intensity as blue and white LEDs. Of course, these wavelengths aren't as important for marine life conservation as white and blue either (if I understand correctly), but they limit the range of hues you can choose from unless the blue and white LEDs are turned off at this point, and you lose the "real" light and deal damage to the main target. Still, I was mostly happy with it. Until yesterday when I realized it was completely dark. It appears to have died after less than two weeks of use under original conditions. Nothing has changed since installation. The power was on, the blue LED on the hub was blinking normally, and the controller was on, but its LCD showed "Err". No damage, nothing wet, nothing hot or smelly - everything looked perfectly normal except for the no light and a weird error message. Nothing I've tried to troubleshoot has changed the behavior at all. After googling the weird "Err" message for several hours to see if anyone mentioned this issue, all I could find was that it means the wrong power supply (24V) is being used. for pumps instead of 12V for lighting). Well that's impossible and doesn't make sense because I only have the one that came with the light and have made sure it's 12V (even tested it with a voltmeter to confirm). I've reached out to their tech support to see if they have any ideas to make it work so I don't have to return it and am currently awaiting their response but I think it's going a long way. My intuition tells me not to hold my breath and just order a new one (although it will definitely be a competing product from another manufacturer).
