This is a handy compact radio. Seems well done. The slim design with rounded corners fits easily in a shirt pocket. It's smaller than a deck of playing cards. I wear it in the garden so I don't miss NPR when I'm busy and forget to get home at 6pm. The sound from the built-in speaker is better than I expected, but it's still basically a radio and not a HI-FI device. Setup is difficult as the stations are very close together on the dial, but I solved this problem by listening to a different radio while scanning this one for an NPR station. I just need an FM transmitter. I'm about 25 miles from our local cell towers and reception is fine even indoors. To be honest the price is cheap for the value I got. Shipping was within a few days.
