When unfolded and zipped up (there is material at the bottom stretching diagonally from corner to corner - and when both pieces are zipped together it lends support to the structure) these are pretty sturdy. I found it best to load them before placing them in the drawer.I also found that the compartments are a bit small for my things, but my wife is able to use them for her things, which are more dainty than mine.There is nothing wrong with these in my book. I just wasn't totally cognizant of the compartment sizing when I ordered. For smaller items (peds, panties and such) they seem just great. But I could only store my boxers in the larger sizes.If you pay more attention than I did to the sizes of the individual compartments, and your items will fit nicely in those, these are nice storage items
