This stuff definitely works. I put the big one in the kitty litter and it helped. The room doesn't stink unless the cat left a present or the boxes don't need cleaning. I put the smaller one in a closet that for some reason seems to have a direct connection to the basement of my apartment building, where occasionally someone smokes. Works well - no more cigarette smoke. However, I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell and this stuff definitely has an odor that lingers after the first day or two that others have mentioned. Maybe only I would have noticed with my oddly keen sense of smell. In a cramped space in a small closet, the smell is especially noticeable. Of course, I prefer cigarettes and stronger-smelling odor neutralizers.
