Review on πŸ”Œ Ancable 6ft 3.5mm Stereo Female to Dual-Male Y-Splitter Audio Cable by Kelly Kaliyan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

First bad cable in a long time

When I still had a Walkman, headphone cables would ritually detach. The cord needs to be fed directly into the outlet at a certain angle, which has become increasingly difficult over time. This was because the player was pounding into a jacket pocket, and the cord was kinked or twisted with every step. That was 30 years ago and I haven't had a bad headphone cable since. But this one is terrible. It doesn't move where I have it. It is connected to computer speakers where a splitter gives access to a small tape recorder and my laptop. As with my Walkman headphones from the 1980s, these are simply unreliable. I can wiggle it in the laptop slot and it crackles and pops. If it doesn't fit perfectly, zero tone. If it's right, it's great. Conclusion: buy another brand. This is the type of product where almost everything you find is from the same manufacturer, so they're probably all cheap junk. Make sure you can return anything you buy.
