These are unique wooden bricks with an unusual shape that toddlers can use for folding and developing fine motor skills. The product page says it is not recommended for children under the age of 3 due to choking hazard. I would say they are great for younger children (1 year and older) as long as they are supervised to keep pieces out of their mouths. However, my son is 3 years old and loves to fold them into different shapes. Tougher than it looks, it not only develops motor skills but also teaches gravity and balance. All in all a good product that encourages creativity.
