Great softbox, good for the flash on the go

I've recently started using flash for photography and every few weeks I buy accessories to complete my kit. I looked at the softbox on the stand but was afraid my flash would not line up if set up with a wireless trigger attached. I saw this 8x12 softbox on a flash and thought for the price I might give it a try. 8x12 is quite large but luckily I can mount it on my flash on my camera and it doesn't even show up with Canon's wide open 18mm lens. It really helps soften the light when used this way, if for some reason the ceiling has a lot of angles or is very high it can save you from some pretty ugly shots. I actually bought it to use on my tripod when remotely controlling the flash and it works great for that too. Helps soften fill lights and soften shadows for studio portraits. If you want to leave this on camera and walk a lot, this might be too big for you. I agree because more surface area gives better results, but sometimes it's not very practical. They're selling one for a little less, which might be better for situations like this. Overall this is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone using an external flash.
