I was looking for 14 gauge wire and almost bought a cheaper and more popular wire. When I saw that another cheaper wire didn't match the caliber advertised, I bought it. Check the diameter with calipers and make sure the conductor meets the 1.6mm diameter requirement for 14 gauge.
