Review on 🧣 Ultimate Protection and Comfort: Minus33 Merino Wool Midweight Balaclava by Bobby Blanton

I recently bought this balaclava for bear, deer and elk season when I got tired of fiddling with the neck edging. I originally looked at other companies but didn't want anything too bulky and I really like Minus33's color choices so I thought I'd give them a try. Also, I really hate it when products burn their logos every square inch or make them stand out so everyone knows what you're wearing and you look like a billboard. I like high quality, discreet pieces and this fits right in. When the balaclava arrived I was very surprised at how thin it was. This bothered me at first because I thought "medium weight" would be a little thicker, but thought I'd give it a try while camping/hunting last weekend where temperatures ranged from 22F-48F. The balaclava is amazing. to my surprise. It's thin enough for you to breathe easily, wear hats and goggles without getting in the way or causing discomfort. In fact, after about 45 minutes I didn't realize it was on my face. It didn't keep me from seeing or breathing, it kept my face warm and dry, and the fabric is flexible enough that you could tuck it under your chin to eat, drink, smoke or whatever , and it didn't seem to get in the way. . stretch out The most important test was in the tent. Most nights at night my face gets colder and I wake up and then I try to cover my face with a bag or roll a hat over my face which inevitably falls off and it's an endless cycle. I slept with him like that all night, and even tossing and turning he stayed perfectly straight. It was a real winner. I would give this product 5 stars if it was made in the USA and not China. The stitching is good, the color I got (forest green) goes well with other products and the material feels great against the skin. If you are looking for a lightweight, comfortable, affordable, and warm balaclava, add it to your list and give it a try.
