This is a fantastic set for small children to start learning the basics in the kitchen. Our two year old daughter absolutely LOVES it. It's a great idea to use velcro between the two halves of the food items, as it makes it easy for them to practice cutting, but also keeps them together when being stored. I would highly recommend this set for anyone looking to start teaching your little ones about how to do things in the kitchen!
