So I bought 2 of these for my nursery and was so excited when they arrived. We assembled the first with no problems, the second had to be sent back as it couldn't be assembled due to a manufacturing defect. We received the replacement on Friday and assembled it this morning. Until we could finally assemble it, it was difficult and almost had to be sent back. The toy consists of 4 parts. Base, head, tail and green border that prevents balls from ricocheting. The green trim needs to be attached first, and it takes quite a bit of hand force to get it in place. It needs to be oriented the right way for it to snap into place, so check it first to see which "open" end goes to the tail side and which goes to the head side. design flaw. The section that snaps into the head position was offset slightly, probably about 1/8 inch. Because of this, it is impossible to properly secure the green border. We had some difficulty swapping out the toy, but after we both got everything in place we were finally able to snap it into place. Since it was in place, the green trim stuck out a bit, but it wasn't as bad on the new toy as the one we returned (no). pinch points), so we decided to keep it.
