Not just for a backpack
I love the Jolder. Yes, it's plastic, and the spring doesn't look strong, though. BUT I used this on a 2 week back country hike and was hit and last and still looks good. Even all the scraping and banging. Easy to get in and out of and actually very safe. I was also hooked on our sunroof and had an amazing 360 degree view from the car. Very diverse.
