Smells really good! It literally smells like sawmill, not to mention the whole bathroom smells like woods, but it doesn't smell like urine at all. The granules appear to soak up urine and, once dry, turn into something like a wet clump of sawdust that can be scooped up with a garden spade or shovel. Doesn't stick together or turn into that ugly mass of paste we all love to clean up... When you pick up dry clumps they act like sawdust so be careful when removing them. Second, in my situation, my guy just puts small logs on top with the pellets raised, so it stinks quite a bit because it's open, but it's easy to clean and notice, so I don't mind. However, in terms of coverage, may not work depending on the cat and/or their small droppings?
