Review on 🎧 Yinyoo KZ ZSX 5BA 1DD Over Ear Earbuds: Superior Noise Cancelling Hybrid Headphones with Balanced Armature Dynamic Driver (Black, Wired, No Mic) by Irma Brown

Decent IEM in its price range

KZ The ZSX is a 5 VA+ 1 DD hybrid IEM with a 2-pin detachable cable and 3 pairs of silicone tips. It does not come with a carrying case. The design of the IEM consists of a metal front panel and a transparent acrylic body. The tips that the earbuds attach to are metal with a small ridge for attaching the earbuds. The build seems solid compared to some of my other KZ IEMs. The earmuffs are designed to be worn on the ear and seal very well in the ear canal with their brackets. The soundproofing was good with very little sound leakage. I've paired this with my OnePlus 5 and I usually listen to music through streaming sites which vary in sound quality for different artists. The singing was clear, especially on female voices, while it was a bit muffled on male voices. The music seemed a little underwhelming, especially some of the instruments like cymbals and drums which felt a little "thin". The bass was sufficient and up to the mark. Some of the songs that had a good kick in the bass sounded good through the ear cups. Most of the time my volume was around 20-30% which I found to be excellent considering the sound quality I could hear. Some of the songs had background hiss, which I think could be due to the quality of the recording being broadcast. I haven't used this with a headphone amp so I don't know if the sound quality improves with this combination. The major downside of this IEM is the braided cable which tends to get tangled making hooking it up difficult and time consuming. IEM to the source. This is a problem with all my KZ headphones. Also, my ear canals hurt when I wear it for more than 1 hour, which can be a good thing as I don't prefer to wear any kind of headphones in my ear for long periods of time. So this is a good IEM. at this price if you can accept the flaws I observed. As for me, I see myself reaching for my other KZ (ZSN Pro) compared to this one.
