Review on Portable Acoustics JBL Charge 4, 30W, grey by Abhi GC ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are pros and cons, think before buying.

This speaker will take the place of my much-loved Charge 3 wheezing, so I decided to purchase it. I had anticipated receiving the same bomb speaker that was included in Charge 3, but in a more refined iteration. In addition to that, after reading the reviews, I was confident in my conclusion. Nevertheless, it was not in that location. The very first issue that noticeably detracted from the overall sound quality. To start, let's talk about bass. In comparison to Charge 3, there are hardly none of them. Despite this, it begs the question: why? What in this iteration of Charge could possibly be so lacking in comparison to its predecessor. In order to achieve a sound that is at least somewhat like to that of a 3-ki, it is necessary to download and install a wide variety of blasphemous equalizers that are offered by third-party developers on your mobile device. Further. JBL Connect cannot establish a connection between the Charge 4 and any of the other speakers. Why? What is the meaning of this idiocy? No problem, even with a Tiny Flip, Charge 3, Boombox, or Extreme! And 4-ka - no! What exactly has changed to such a significant degree in the brain in comparison to the third? What a thrilling experience it was to be able to legally consume two 3s and experience true stereo in nature, but here we have figs. Nonsense. After all, I had every intention of purchasing Extreme, but the one and only factor that prevented me from doing so was the fact that the charging port on version 4 was still a type-c connector. If anything, version 4 can be recharged offline using a power bank, whereas Extreme and subsequent versions can only be recharged online. I do apologize for it. To summarize, if you are still set on purchasing exactly 4-ku, the first thing you need do is listen to it. Take it if the sound is to your liking and you don't need the ability to connect it to another speaker. Nonetheless, I deeply lament the fact that I did not choose to use another model. And you're correct, I do own the GG series. In comparison to TL, it appears to be even better than the finest. And that's such a shame (((

Pros
  • Construction excellence
Cons
  • Bass, lack of compatibility for JBL Connect
