Three months' worth of experience with a mouse. The first excitement was short-lived since, yes, it is of very high quality, quite comfy, and there are a lot of buttons; but, that was all there was to it. The joy comes from learning both how to use and how to play with the mouse. BUT! The most significant "BUT" is a piece of software known as the Logitech G HUB. This is the piece of software that controls the mouse, or more specifically its modes of operation and the assignment of all the various keys. To begin, from a personal standpoint, it is just counterintuitive and inconvenient. For the very first time, I needed to give myself some time to think about it before I could comprehend "what is here and where." Second, and this is already an objective fact, it does a poor job of doing its intended role, which is to adjust the mouse settings based on the application that is currently running. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. You may need to minimize and then expand the game in order to for the G HUB to "wake up" and apply the profile you want. When this does not work, you will need to dismiss the game, manually remove the G HUB from the tray, and then turn on the profile you want to use. You should realize that after three months, it's getting worse! I spend time playing Apex Legends. Yesterday I made a mistake that cost me a match in the rankings; I failed to check at the beginning to see if the desired profile had been selected or not. As a result, I lost the match. This is a mouse designed for gaming. I had no choice but to reinstall Windows around a month ago. It was hoped that if a "clean" G HUB was installed on a new "top ten," everything would operate as it should, but unfortunately, this was not the case. By the way, the application repeatedly prompted the user to register their Logi ID. When I had to reinstall the operating system, I had some vague notion that my user profiles would be preserved because of him, but for some inexplicable reason, this did not occur. Overall, a high-quality mouse that is let down by poor software. The most advanced mouse I've ever had the pleasure of using. And the most unusable mouse software I have ever encountered. Make your own decision about whether or not you require it.
