The cover consists of 3 layers, corrugated foam at the bottom, thin foam at the top and a thick middle element. The middle part is not preformed but has many perforations and you rip out some cubes until your quest and controller fit. It's really fun to do and it allowed me to tweak my modded Quest 2, albeit neatly. The only thing that worries me is that the cover is not indexed well. this makes it a bit awkward to close. It would be nice to see how the lid fits into the groove to align the locking mechanism. Now you have to manually align it left and right with the handles.
