I wanted to trade in for the Omni 12 shoes that I have worn and loved. I ran two half marathons with it and climbed several mountains. So when I ordered what should have been next in line, the Omni ISO, from Saucony, I was hoping they would be even better. I was disappointed from the start. Heel support feels minimal and doesn't allow for smooth forward movement. I'm a tall runner so I need a lot of support when my heel lands and rolls forward. I've tried to get them to work but they seem clumsy and unnatural. If you're a lighter runner they might work for you, but for a big guy like me they'll be a big disappointment. Oh, and did I mention shoelaces are junk? I've been wearing them for less than 6 months and the laces are already snapping and snapping. I don't even wear tight shoes most of the time and the laces still go bad. Unfortunately, I'll be looking for another brand now. The Omni 12 was such a good running shoe!
