Overall, the mouse left a positive impression on me, but the excessive marital content detracted from it. The mouse's freespin-wheel feature is neat, but it stopped functioning properly after only a week. The wheel started making a horrible noise, vibrating excessively, and skipping revs, all of which are very unacceptable in a mouse of this price. I was able to return the mouse without any hassle (your help is greatly appreciated), reorder it from a different retailer, eagerly unbox it, and give the scroll wheel a whirl. This issue resurfaced unexpectedly, and this time the wheel was splitting significantly more severely. I have no idea what it is related to, but there are numerous reports of this issue on the web, and despite trying every possible configuration in the proprietary software, it is evident that there is a hardware issue rather than a software one. The mouse is interesting in theory, but there are so many problems with it right now that I can't suggest it.
