I currently use two of these cables with my AAO 4K KVM Switch (bought here), the previous HDMI/DVI cables I had just couldn't display 4K on my Linux desktop but it found this on windows 10, which was pretty weird to me. So after a lot of research I just bit the bullet and got them and they turned out great! Now my Windows and Linux workstations display 4K clearly (Monitor: Alienware AW-18DW). The cables are not only very attractive to look at, they also appear to be very durable. For now it does what I want. 1. Detected by my 4K VKM switch (HDMI connects to DVI monitor/Display port to workstation)2. Displays 4K on my workstation running Linux/Windows 103. Sturdy and durable material. I like it when everything works as described.
