A kitchen utensil hasn't changed life that much since the days of the microwave. I bought my first Nutribullet two years ago and found it had EVERYTHING and a bag of cabbage. I started playing around with the recipes in the book, I just started making my own mixes based on seasonal fruits and vegetables. I usually stick with a combo of spinach, carrots, Greek yogurt, bananas, strawberries, mangoes, blueberries, apples, and papaya. Sometimes I also add chia seeds or almonds. I add crushed ice and have a delicious smoothie for breakfast every day that lasts me through lunch. In fact, I feel sluggish all morning if I skip smoothies. Nutribullet is great for pureeing tough, fibrous foods like carrots. I also use it to puree the hard ends of asparagus for delicious soups. Another benefit of Nutribullet is that it improves your ability to preserve the seasonal produce I get from relatives' gardens or farmers markets. I puree food and freeze it in mini muffin cups. Then I just take out the frozen "cupcakes" and store them in bags until they're ready to use in smoothies. I've attached a photo of Spinach Banana Muffins that are ready to freeze. I have introduced several people to this sturdy little blender. A healthy lifestyle is definitely easier to maintain when you have the right tools. This winner!
