The beads are threaded onto one strand and then attached to the ribbons with another strand between the beads. Also, the bandages I have ALREADY received have threads hanging from the bandage. The strands themselves are poorly attached to the headband, and some strands of beads don't stay in place. Since the ground is of good quality, no more anchor threads can be added. However, adding anchor threads can damage the tape and it is not possible to attach them without covering the threads with material. I'm not happy with my purchase, but don't waste time returning it. Go for something well made - it'll likely cost more, but at least you can be sure it's a quality product.
