I'll get back to you after a week of use!

Just received last night; this is for my 9 year old boy. Our main goal is of course to keep him active, but encouraging attention (reducing distractions) in the classroom is just as important. I activated sedentary alerts as well as several scheduled alerts throughout the school day to get his attention. We talked about how every time his bracelet vibrates, he has to look around the class and notice what everyone is doing that his teacher is doing. says, or what he should be doing at that moment. He has fairly severe non-hyperactive ADHD and hopes (as much as his teacher and I) that this physical reminder will be of great help to him. Constantly being called to class is humiliating for him, especially when he has little control over where his thoughts take him. He's incredibly smart, but this affects how long he can focus on things that don't interest him (and even interesting things don't always hold his attention for long). Fingers crossed! I wish I had tried this sooner! He loves the look of the fitness bracelet, how much faster he can access the pedometer than on his gizmo watch, and he's encouraged to "beat" me by beating my step count. As a happy 9 year old boy with a huge imagination I'm sure this won't be a big problem! I will note that I had to keep touching the watch face to connect it to the app via Bluetooth the first time. Time. It would turn itself off automatically after a few seconds (to save battery, I'm sure), but that was a little frustrating until I figured that part out. Fingers crossed! I wish I had tried this sooner!
