I bought this and several other 'memorial urns' while looking for the 'perfect' urn for my mother's ashes once they arrived (we donated her body to science and won't be getting it for a few months) . I don't "like" how small the portion of the urn is, but it's a necklace so I don't expect it to be very large. I doubt more than 1-2 grains of ash will fit inside! As this is for my young child to "keep grandma close", I plan on stuffing a strand of hair into it, I think it will be better for the intended owner. I don't think my mom would mind, which seems silly, but we're talking about something for her "forever" so it matters to us! I'm happy with this purchase, although I'm not excited about filling these tiny vessels when the time comes!
