When I heard the doorbell ring I ran to the door eagerly knowing what to expect. I opened the little package and saw a nice chunky sparkly chain, an impressive pendant and two bonus rune beads for when the hair grows back a bit. When I took the chain out of the box, I soon found that it was twisted in two places. I've tried my best to sort this out myself before resorting to more desperate measures. I lubricated the chain with oil (almost any oil will do) and continued my efforts. To no avail, I decided it was time to grab a rubber mallet and a face rag to try and smooth out the creases. (This is a common practice among jewelers.) To be honest, I don't know if it was excitement or frustration, but I awkwardly broke my thumb trying to hold the towel by the chain. Funny irony of my attempts to open this Mjolnir, resulting in me spilling my own blood with a hammer. The kinks have been removed although I will probably replace the chain. The pendant and rune beads are a real investment and well worth it. I thought I would share. Happy hunting, Pagans.
