Real allergen protection without PVC/Vinyl

Mission: Allergy takes its products seriously. I did quite a bit of research before ordering the kit and found that there are only two or three companies that make products that offer real protection* without resorting to PVC/Vinyl sheeting/covering. And I chose Mission: Allergy and have no regrets! Overall I am VERY happy with my purchase. But as far as I remember there was a lot of information about the positive aspects of the product. So I'll skip all the good stuff and only address possible criticisms. Keep in mind that they make the pillow a little louder and more comfortable. It's not exactly the same, but as similar as I can imagine it almost feels like a silk pillowcase when you run your fingers over it. But remember, this isn't the last layer. Unlike silk, I've never noticed it getting hot. Be prepared for a slight rustle/rustle as you move your head. There are some weird creaking/squeaking noises from time to time which I think are due to the combination of the memory foam pillow and this case moving air at different speeds, but they don't last long. (For example, if you roll over and create a negative pressure zone between the pillow, the shell and pillow will try to suck in air faster than the shell is letting it through.) Also, be prepared that the added smoothness of the polyester shell means it won't stay in either the pillowcases. They may occasionally try to wriggle out, but a quick shake will snap them back into place. Ultimately, it's one of the few products that truly protects bedding without having to switch to PVC/Vinyl covers, which [for me] aren't sleepable on. Yes, I know polyester is synthetic and maybe closer to vinyl than cotton, but the bottom line is that Mission: Allergy has developed what appears to be *a real allergen barrier that approximates the sleep properties of cotton*. I'm not allowed to say how well something works in relation to allergens. But I can comment on how it affects other important aspects.
