I was skeptical based on the reviews so my expectations were limited. For under thirty bucks if this Santa works for two weeks - I would be happy. And it sure did! It has survived 3 weeks outside constantly on, wind and rain. It is not prefect, so 4 stars only. The biggest issue is that it has only 3 ropes holding it in the middle of the body, nothing is holding the base except some sand inside. Every two days Santa moves and need to be reattached. AT the end I found a solution: the power wire can actually be twisted around a spike so it will provide and extra holding point. The manufacturer could easily fix it by adding a couple of extra loops on the base but they didn't bother. Other than that no complaints, if it lives another season I will upgrade it to 5 stars because of the value.
