I took to replace my two-year-old Samsung HMX10. Panasonic HDC-SD60 is probably the best value and best choice among Full HD cameras under 20,000. Very convenient control, clear menu, good picture. I donβt consider the lack of shooting modes in standard resolutions to be a disadvantage - itβs simply not needed. There are Full HD modes with different bitrates - that's enough. And in order to shoot in standard definition - why buy a Full HD camcorder, and then record it in the camera's shortcomings. For example, in two years of using the Samsung HMX10, I have never shot in SD. And if you really need it, you can also re-digitize, which allows the software that comes with the camera (we choose MPEG2). I do not agree that there is a lack of color - I did not notice either when viewed on a computer or when viewed on a TV - the colors are correct, natural. I would not say that the battery life is short - I have 1.5 hours to shoot. I really liked the camera.
