phone was the perfect solution for me. I can't use magnetic mounts as I use a protective case for my phone and I don't like the idea of permanently attaching the mount to the dashboard which may later need to be removed. This mount doesn't actually stick to the dashboard, instead it uses a sticky backing that prevents the mount from slipping. Once the base loses its stickiness, simply rinse with warm water and wipe dry - it will hold up like new. Because I use a protective case, my phone is thicker and sits upright in this holder instead of tilting back like the promotional photo shows. Since it's not exactly an adhesive mount, when I try to remove the phone by pulling on the center of the phone's protective case, the mount slides off the dashboard. But when you remove the phone by pulling one of the top corners, the mount stays in place. Therefore, the phone can be easily inserted and removed with one hand.
