Very easy to install and a welcome addition to my kitchen. While the light in the middle of the ceiling illuminates the room, you always work on the counter and stove in your own shadow. With over 30 years of experience as an electrician building and maintaining electrical networks for residential, commercial and industrial buildings, this is an effective and simple solution for SHADOW. As long as you have an over-the-counter container and a Phillips screwdriver to turn it, you can place these under the over-the-counter cabinets or stovetop and welcome a brave new world into your kitchen. The double sided tape is good. Holds lightly but I would recommend adding screws if you really want them to stay in place. The motion sensor to turn on/off and dim the light works very well. Slightly sensitive to shiny/reflective items like a blender underneath, but easy to fix. Move it left or right six inches. If you're tired of fighting the SHADOW in the kitchen, then now you KNOW how to win forever!
