Nice color (pink-purple) and works well. Frequent emptying through the handle will definitely reduce the smell of smoke. I take this with me when I visit non-smoking households and smoke on their patios. It's heavy enough not to tip over in high wind areas like our local Antelope Valley areas of California, as opposed to using empty soda or beer cans as outdoor ashtrays. If you are looking for a small outdoor ashtray, take a look at the sizing as it's not huge, but it's not as small as it looks either. Highly recommended for both beauty and functionality.
