One of the previous reviewers said it fell off easily and it did. However, I used clear tape to tape the underside of the artistic centerpiece to the bottom plastic piece it was inserted into. Then I opened up the glued side of the square part of the center piece and wrapped it around the actual artistic part of the center piece and then pressed the glued side back down. Then I crumpled up some small pieces of tissue paper and stuffed them into the square part of the center piece. Then he held out without falling. Worked great at our parties.
