I bought this to use in a Sony NEX-7 camera which doesn't even come with a small capacity memory card. Using the NEX-7's highest resolution settings (RAW plus .jpeg capture), the size of each still image reaches 30MB. At the maximum resolution of .jpg (not RAW), NEX-7 still images are 5-6MB each and more than 860 images can be stored on this card. 300 minutes at the lowest camera resolution in .mp4 format. In order to record audio or video, the battery will likely need to be charged before fully filling this card. Many modern Sony products (including the NEX-7) also support SD media. So if your recording devices aren't Sony, you might not need Sony's proprietary form factor.
