I bought these on a whim just to see how they would look on wood and wow they are amazing! They mesh well and you can't see the part of the clip I was worried about (which mostly merges with the branch). In fact, I love turning off the lights on the Christmas tree to see more of those candles! It's reminiscent of the old traditional Christmas tree where people put real candles on a real live tree for some crazy reason, but without all the crazy dangers that usually entail. She looks really beautiful and for the price this beauty is worth it! I have no idea how long a battery lasts, but the remote control makes it easy to turn it on and off, and you can flicker it, which is pretty close to a real candle (not super realistic, but it still looks good on a tree). Its worth it!
