Very useful in winter.
This is a great way to keep your gray water hose from freezing during the winter. If the park wants you to run some water to prevent freezing, a smaller hose keeps the water flowing. With a regular sized hose, water can freeze, pool and clog the hose (much like cholesterol gauges, lol). With this setup you can keep your gray water open and not have to worry about it freezing.
