These containers are worth every penny! Let's start with making sure they're just the right size. They easily hold a can of cranberry sauce (my husband's favorite). The upper is snug-fitting, if not fully drop-resistant, but close enough. The top also snaps in place to secure the top on all four sides. Glass containers are also very durable. I will wash the glass containers in the dishwasher but I will hand wash the tops. They are made of plastic, but again very durable. They have a silicone ring that helps the liquid stay inside. It can also be pulled out of the groove to ensure there is no food underneath. That's why I hand wash them. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased about it. I would buy them again anytime if needed. One more note: I wasn't sure how much these containers could hold. I emailed the seller and he responded quickly, putting the quantity in ounces in the description. Glory!
