Review on StretchBack Mesh And Leather Palm Weightlifting Gloves With Harbinger Power For Non-Wristwrap Workout by Ricardo Mercado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It’s better that they take the abuse.

This is the second pair of Harbinger workout gloves that I’ve owned and I have been satisfied with both pairs. I owned the first pair for a number of years and simply wore them out. The "use and abuse” they received at the gym when I was handling plates, bars, or grips on machines saved my hands from that amount of wear and tear each day. The gloves covered by this review are styled somewhat differently from my original Harbinger gloves but appear to be as sturdy. These gloves are a part of my gym bag "kit” and I always use them. So, yes, I would be comfortable recommending them to a friend .Notes! #1: I have noticed that the sizing tends to run small. I have medium/large hands, weigh (only) 170 lbs. and I’m using and XL. I have to peel them on and off. Bigger guys should adjust accordingly.#2. These gloves can, and should, be washed occasionally because they will get really ripe with sweat. You can wash them in the bathroom sink and line dry them. Be forewarned; these gloves will turn the water black but neither they, nor the sink, will be harmed. You will know when it’s time to give them a bath (when you open your gym bag) .

Pros
  • Non-Wristwrap
Cons
  • Not suitable for weightlifters with hand injuries
