I purchased this item to complete a complete conversion (internal/external) from 20th century incandescent and halogen lighting to LED. When installing the side marker housings back into the body they fit snugly but after a few months of conversion all is still good. The patterned clear lens lets tiny LEDs shine brightly and project further, taking advantage of the side marker's light diffusion design. Despite the age of my car, the old lighting has been brought into the 21st century with great brightness and intensity. No problems with electrical AM or FM interference during turn signal/alarm operation. In anticipation of unexpected crashes, I'm happy with the visual/security improvements. * Comes back when Durability Upgrade is allowed, same as for Year 1. Full Disclosure: I will be applying Wipe New to all closed clear outer cases to hopefully offset the inevitable yellowing of the clear lens over time due to prolonged UV exposure. A NOTICE. A replacement relay was installed/required to control the "rapid flicker syndrome" common to older automotive LED applications.
