Unfortunately I have to give this product 1 star. Let's start on a positive note: my device is not causing the loud noise issue that other users have reported. Now for the cons: I'll start with the placement of the USB port, which affects ergonomics and functionality. 2 USB ports are located on the right side of the device. In my opinion there should be 1 connector on each side of the cooling pad. Having ports only on the right side prevents me from effectively using other hardware that needs to be plugged into the right side of my laptop (this is a workplace issue). to use the left side of the USB ports on the device and on my laptop. Also, the ability to adjust the height of the cooling pad isn't possible in this configuration as the legs are now on the back of the device, making it cost inefficient. to break ports. Eventually the cooling pad will start and stop for no apparent reason. This may be due to the quality of the USB ports. I missed the return window so it's going in the trash/trash now.
