It has been very helpful in my work as I am able to keep up with our food service's menu changes and make sure that they are implemented correctly. There have also been times where there was an issue with a dish or ingredient and it would not be updated until several days later when we were already using them. This can cause some confusion if your kitchen staff does not know about the change right away. We use this software mostly for tracking nutrition information but sometimes it gets confused and shows incorrect amounts of certain ingredients. The benefits include being able to track what we serve at each meal and how many calories/grams etc are consumed by students.
