I bought this paper to practice pen calligraphy on copper plates after reading the guidelines on calligraphy blogs/websites on how to write on it smoothly, the ink does not flow and you can see through them enough to see the guides underneath. My main concern was that I wouldn't be able to see my guides when I put this paper on top, but it turns out you can see through them just fine (see photo). The landmarks in the photo are black, but I can even see the light blue landmarks through them. Overall I am very happy with this practice paper and have already ordered another pad since my original purchase.
