Blank screen issue in my review.

This monitor has an issue where the screen goes blank even though it's on. I have read many posts with people who have been through this. I have just returned a monitor I bought earlier this year due to the issue mentioned. Dell responded very well to the return. In my opinion there is an issue with a component or firmware that Dell needs to be aware of (or they aren't reading the news online). If you look on the Dell website for troubleshooting tips, they never mention anything about components or firmware. They blame the drivers etc, which I don't think is always the case. When the monitor works, it works fine. And I can use GSYNC. Colors, frame rates and controls are well done. Before purchasing this monitor, I would do my homework here. And given the blank screen issues, I'd buy an extended warranty. I'm not sure what Dell will do if you have this issue and the product is no longer under warranty. I think they knew it was a problem when they sold you the product, so they should stick with it no matter when the blank screen issue occurs. Much luck.
