I have multi-zone sound at home, ie amplifiers with many connections. I've always arranged them as best I can and I hope I never have to remove or move them because it's going to be a huge piece of work. NOT SO with these wonderful things. You basically strip the wire, slide it through the middle, and fold the individual strands on top (not on top of the strands). Then twist the two pieces together, and the strands, bent down the middle, make intimate contact with the shell, creating a super-strong connection. You can then simply insert them into the amp and remove them with ease. I was hesitant at first, thinking these things would have to come loose easily, but after testing them and pulling the hinge with all my might, I'm convinced. Ingenious in design, the strands are twisted, which gives it all the power. The assembly pressure only needs to hold the strands in place, the bend provides the structure. I've used them on a surround amp, but I go around the house and put them on any banana plug amp.
