The lamp works very well. Used in a table lamp with halogen which is very hot. Now it works very cool and consumes less power by 90W with more light output.Perfect fit even with the diffuser plate installed back on top of the lamp.The lamp has a full receptacle and a dimmer,so I didn't test the full dimming range.The lamp dims at lower settings without flickering but the light output is like a night light so not very useful but that's ok as I'm always fully on I had to order a warm version (3000K) of the light over daylight to blend in with the other lights in the room first use it took a few seconds to warm up and then toggled it on and off at full brightness with no issues I had to adapt by using moved the lightbulb a little to properly place the electrical contacts on the ends. No flickering or buzzing.
