I like my new heavy alpaca blanket. I bought this to replace my dead electric blanket before the cold weather hit. And I love the weight, comfort and softness of the fibers. I have a queen size thick mattress but I ordered a king size comforter. Ultimately, due to my thick mattress, I'm much more comfortable with overlaps on either side of the bed. It's too long, but I just hide the excess under the mattress, and the extra length prevents me from pulling it out at night. Good product. For months I debated whether to buy a merino or an alpaca blanket. I'm glad I chose Alpaca.
