Review on Uniform for Police, Sheriff, Security, and Military Personnel by Everette Jean

Excellent durable tie clip with a small flaw

NOTE. I originally wrote this review for the silver version of this product, which I also own. In all other respects they are identical, but for some reason they are placed as separate ads on Revain. Sometimes the simple things are the best. This tie pin is undecorated, not particularly flashy and has few moving parts. Basically, this is the simplest version of a tie clip you can find. And it works great. The gold color shines but not too much, the clasp is strong enough to keep the tie in place but easily unfastened by hand, and its simplicity means it can be paired with almost any outfit, from the very formal to the the pretty casual. I've had this tie clip for over five years and it still works. I use it at least once a week and sometimes daily. Not only does it successfully prevent the tie from falling off, but given the comments I've received from people about it, it seems to add an unexpected touch of class. The only reason I took off a star is the size of this tie clip. ; It's too short. It was designed for the thinner ties that are more popular these days and I generally prefer thick, dominant ties. So this clip either doesn't go all the way to the end of the tie (it doesn't look too weird visually, so I don't mind) or you have to place it a bit higher than usual (which looks weird visually). so I never do that). Overall, this is a great tie clip that has stayed with me for years.
