Having recently lost a lot of weight, I was constantly looking for ways to find additional storage space and to use as much free space as possible in our home. I stumbled upon these shelves while looking for something different. I measured, imagined and found that I could really benefit from incorporating these shelves in my kitchen by utilizing the "dead" space above plates, glasses etc. Initially I felt that 2 shorter and 1 longer would help free up space in the dishes, glasses and cupboard. Reading the reviews, one mentioned buying a pack of 6. Turns out it's cheaper to buy sets of 6 than individual shelves. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the 12 shelves but by the time I got them I had found the spots to put them and used all but 1! They fit perfectly in kitchen or bathroom cabinets and are strong enough to hold multiple plates, bowls or casseroles. I put 2 on open shelves (no sides or backs to the shelves) in a storage cabinet and have to be careful when taking anything out of them. Perhaps they will slip off the open shelves. Otherwise 100% agree.
